NEW YORK--Merrill Lynch has signed a global deal for Bloomberg's Data License, becoming the first customer to sign for the full version of the product. The enterprisewide deal, said to be a three-year contract, allows customers within Merrill Lynch to access Bloomberg's entire database of fundamental and historical data.
Terms of the contract were not released. Sources close to the deal, however, say that Merrill Lynch, which still owns 20 per cent of Bloomberg, is paying $11 million for the
