Tradeweb Adding Corporates in Bid to Be Known as Data Vendor

Tradeweb is adding benchmark corporate bonds to its platform in the third quarter as it repositions itself as a market data vendor as well as a trading system and STP solutions provider.
"We want to provide the corporate screen--a liquid, representative set of prices," says Jim Toffey, president and CEO of Tradeweb. The corporates will initially be available only over Tradeweb’s own data and trading platform, Tradeweb Viewer. Tradeweb will consider distributing it through Moneyline Telerate and
