Reuters to Combine IDN, RDN Networks
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
Reuters is set to combine its two data delivery networks rather than forcing customers to migrate executives to the Reuters Distribution Network (RDN), from its legacy Integrated Data Network (IDN) that delivers data to 80,000 Reuters customers, sources close to the vendor confirm.
Reuters planned to migrate users from the 1980s-era, Reuters-built IDN to RDN, formerly the Bridge Distribution Network (BDN). But it now appears likely that only certain elements of RDN will be offered, after Reuters
