Exchanges Get a Boost From Data

EXCHANGE WATCH

Of four exchanges that reported results last week, three announced increased revenues from market data, adding further support to the argument that the market has largely recovered from its downturn.

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange said second quarter revenues from market data rose to $17.8 million, up 20 percent from $14.8 million for the same quarter last year.
