The interactive edition of the Wall Street Journal, which began charging for subscriptions in September, has signed up about 50,000 subscribers. That's 8.3 per cent of the 600,000 registered users before September. The charge is $29 a year for subscribers to the Journal's print edition, $49 for nonsubscribers.
