Research Center Upgrades Mutual Fund Database

CHICAGO--The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business' Center for Research in Security Prices will include mutual fund holdings and daily net asset value in its CRSP Survivor-Bias Free US Mutual Fund Database, beginning in September.

The center also currently maintains historical data files on US equities, and it is looking into the possibility of compiling information on Chinese equities as well. There are concerns, however, about the quality of international data, says Chris Myers
