Nasdaq OMX Cans CAF, Grows Indexes
Nasdaq OMX will discontinue its European Corporate Actions and Financials (CAF) data product at the end of August, after deeming it no longer "commercially viable."
CAF was launched in 2007 by OMX Group prior to its merger with Nasdaq and marked the exchange's entry into the corporate actions and company fundamentals data business, following the acquisition of Stockholm-based vendor Findata earlier that year from Swedish electronic publisher Bisnode (IMD, March 12, 2007).
