CESR Sets Standards for EU Tape

The Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) today published a report that proposes the use of a common set of standards for identifying trade types - to help vendors provide a more consistent view of consolidated time and sales data for European equity markets - and suggests clarifications to current MiFID trade reporting requirements to enhance data quality.

The report is the product of a CESR-led industry working group that comprises representatives from exchanges, data vendors
