CESR Sets Standards for EU Trade Data Tape
The Committee of European Securities Regulators last week published a report proposing a common set of standards for identifying trade types across European trading venues, to help vendors provide a more consistent view of consolidated time and sales data for European equity markets, and suggesting clarifications to current MiFID trade reporting requirements to enhance data quality.
