Platts Adds Scrap Prices
Platts has added pricing for heavy melting and shredded ferrous scrap to its Platts Steel Markets Daily print and online publication, its Platts Metals Alert real-time service, and its end-of-day feed from Platts Market Data. The new prices will be of particular interest to smaller steel mills that are large consumers of recyclable iron rather than iron ore, in countries such as Turkey, officials say.
