Vendors Begin RTS FAST Feed Rollout
Thomson Reuters has begun distributing order book data from the Moscow-based RTS (Russian Trading System) Stock Exchange using the bandwidth-reducing industry-standard FIX FAST protocol, which allows the vendor to capture, normalize and redistribute more data to clients of its datafeeds and its Eikon data terminal more quickly than before.
The vendor began developing a handler for the feed at the start of this year (IMD, Jan. 31), and is now carrying the exchange’s RTS real-time exchange feed
