Nasdaq Preps New Depth Policy, Buys RapiData Algo News

In April, Nasdaq OMX will introduce a new optional price structure, dubbed Enhanced Display Solution, for redistributors who provide Nasdaq’s market depth data via a controlled display or API, which officials say will offer more flexible administration. Fees for the Enhanced Display will range from $2,000 to $10,000 per month, depending on the number of subscribers.

Meanwhile, Nasdaq last month acquired RapiData—a provider of a machine-readable feed of more than three dozen economic indicators
