Nasdaq OMX Bows Direct Billing, Netting

Nasdaq OMX is in the final stages of rolling out a direct billing program for its Nordic equities market data that will introduce multi-vendor netting, enabling end-user firms to pay only once for Nasdaq data when an individual user accesses the same Nasdaq data via multiple vendors.

Previously, Nasdaq OMX only offered indirect billing across its US and European markets, whereby vendors such as Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and Interactive Data managed commercial agreements with end-users for
