STAC Assembles Big Data Special Interest Group
Data and trading technology benchmarking organization the Securities Technology Analysis Center (STAC) is setting up a Big Data special interest group to provide a forum for discussions around the challenges of dealing with Big Data in the front and middle offices of trading firms, and to create benchmarks for Big Data analytical tasks such as model simulation and back-testing of potential trading algorithms that require large volumes of historical market data.
