Bloomberg Bows Range of OTC Indexes
Bloomberg has unveiled Bloomberg Indexes, a family of fixed income, commodities, currencies and clean energy indexes, which the vendor believes will provide more transparent benchmarks for portfolio managers to benchmark investments and for issuers to create index-linked tradable products for over-the-counter markets.
The index family -- which initially comprises more than a thousand individual indexes -- can be accessed using the WBIX, CMCX, BDXY and BNEF24 codes, respectively, on the Bloomberg
