Thomson Reuters Adds New Power Pricing Analytics to Eikon

Thomson Reuters will this week launch a new commodities analytics tool, dubbed Power Curve, on its Eikon and Eikon for Commodities desktop terminals, which will allow commodities traders and analysts to predict prices for the Nordic and German power markets.

The tool combines real-time coal, gas and oil prices -- including bid, ask, last price and volumes -- with event data that might impact these prices, such as weather reports and capacity information, as well as power supply data published
