Asset Control Names Petti New CEO

Data management platform vendor Asset Control has appointed Richard Petti as London-based chief executive, replacing board member and executive chairman Dean Goodermote, who held the position on an interim basis since former CEO Phil Lynch moved to SunGard as global head of account management for the IT giant's asset management division earlier this year (Inside Reference Data, Feb. 25).

Petti was most recently chief operating officer of Wema System, a provider of fuel sensors to the trucking industry, prior to which he was managing director of trading systems vendor Etrali UK, part of Orange Business Services, and was global head of financial services at quality management and compliance provider Qumas, and also spent 10 years at SunGard, as managing director of its Adaptiv and SunGard Trading & Risk Systems.
