KVH Lowers Latency on CME-Asia Routes

KVH is based in Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo-based datacenter and hosting provider KVH has upgraded its network between the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in Aurora, Illinois and the Japan (JPX) and Singapore (SGX) stock exchanges in Asia, to provide low latency access for Chicago- and Asia-based trading participants.

The new high bandwidth Ethernet service, which will be available from March 31, will enable KVH to provide latencies of below 122 milliseconds between JPX and Aurora and 188 milliseconds between SGX and Aurora.
