MDX Tech Unveils Server Contribution Platform

The contributions system will position MDX in direct competition with Thomson Reuters' ConteX MCS multi-vendor contributions system, previously known as Gissing Software, which Reuters acquired in 2007. Former Gissing executives Richard Gissing, Paul Watmough and David Priestley co-founded MDX in 2010 as a platform for Windows desktop users to subscribe to, publish and share market data in real time.

At the time, MDX did not plan to compete directly with Thomson Reuters, because the multi-vendor
