SEC Names Pamela Dyson Chief Information Officer
Dyson was previously deputy CIO at the SEC
Dyson will be responsible for overseeing the agency's information technology functions and has been serving as acting CIO since Bayer's departure.
Prior to her appointment, Dyson held a number of roles in the SEC's Office of Information Technology (OIT) since joining in 2010, most recently, as deputy CIO where she oversaw the Commission's information technology program and supervised big data and data management initiatives to make it easier for users to access data.
