IEX Slams NYSE’s Unbundled Last Trade Plan, Citing Data Disparity with CTA Feed

The vendor says NYSE's plan to offer more granular last trade data on its proprietary feeds disadvantages consolidated feed users.

On July 30, NYSE filed a submission with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to amend the NYSE Trades market data feed, which allows vendors, broker-dealers and others to make available on a real-time basis the same last sale information that the Exchange publishes via the Consolidated Tape Association (CTA) Plan consolidated data streams.

Currently, the NYSE Trades feed includes the real-time last sale price, time and size information, bid/ask quotes, and a stock summary message for each
