Markit, IHS to Merge
Combining one of market data's old grandees with a relative newcomer will create a "global information powerhouse," officials say.
Once the merger is complete, the new combined company will be renamed IHS Markit, and will be headquartered in London.
The combined company will create a platform for innovation and new product development to drive future revenue growth, officials say.
