Icap Launches New EBS CNH Benchmark

The EBS CHN benchmark will provide the first transparent reference rate for offshore RMB trading in international markets.

The EBS CNH Benchmark which will serve as a renminbi reference rate for the offshore Chinese renminbi, and has been developed in conjunction with Icap's electronic foreign exchange and fixed income platform EBS BrokerTec.

The EBS CNH Benchmark will be calculated and distributed by IIS. It incorporates rates from executed trades during the fixing window from the EBS market central limit order book.

The benchmark can be accessed via the EBS and IIS websites, as well as via the Bloomberg terminal
