Equinix Completes LD6 Datacenter Phase 2 Expansion

Datacenter provider doubles co-location capacity following £26 million investment.

Equinix has invested £26 million ($38.1 million) to complete the second phase of LD6, adding 1,385 cabinets, bringing the total operational capacity of the datacenter to 2,770 cabinets.

The LD6 campus now provides more than 408,000 square feet (38,000 square meters) of co-location space interconnected by more than 1,000 diverse dark fiber links.
