Activ Preps Brazilian Low-Latency Play

Shawn Kaplan, business development manager at Activ, says the ticker plant, which should go live in the next couple of weeks, will be located in a third-party datacenter "very close to the exchange," and will provide sub-millisecond direct feeds of data from BM&F for automated and algorithmic trading by local firms.

Firms will be able to subscribe to separate feeds of equities and futures data from BM&F, and will also be able to co-locate their trading systems in the same datacenter for low
