FactSet Releases Entity ID Plans

NEW YORK - Data provider FactSet is likely to provide around five basic data fields free of charge to buy-side and sell-side institutions as part of the vendor's bid to promote its own entity identification scheme, Inside Reference Data has learned.

As revealed by Inside Reference Data in February, FactSet's initiative will be based on an existing six-character alphanumeric identifier. The vendor has a database of 1.8 million global public and private companies, private equity and venture capital

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
