The Final Countdown

In the run up to November 1, London has seen an array of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) seminars and briefings—too many considering the shrinking turnout seen at some. There were only around 25 participants at the MiFID Joint Working Group (MiFID JWG) update meeting in September, compared to around 100 at its spring gathering. The reason could either be that end-users were busy preparing for the M-day or that the topic has simply been talked to death.
