Wachovia's Three-Year Global Data Roadmap

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Wachovia is in the middle of a three-year plan to reorganize its global reference data management system and change how reference data costs are managed and allocated.

George Vega, managing director, capital markets technology, corporate and investment bank technology at Wachovia, says the new reference data management system will support product and client data as well as the transaction data warehouse that holds legal entity and account information.

Over the next 15 months
