Eccleston Leaves Thomson in Shock Move

NEW YORK-Lou Eccleston, president of global sales, marketing and services at Thomson Financial, which provides a range of market and reference data services, abruptly left the vendor at the start of November.

According to an internal Thomson memo authored by Thomson Financial chief executive Sharon Rowlands, it "was Lou's decision to make a move at this time," and he is leaving "to pursue other opportunities."
