Swift Appoints First Indian And Chinese Representatives To Board

Industry co-operative Swift has made seven new appointments to its board, including its first representatives from India and China.

Bhavesh Zaveri, country head of operations and head of cash management products at HDFC Bank, has been appointed to represent India and other Asian countries. He is also director at both the National Payment Corporation of India and director of the Clearing Corporation of India. China will be represented by Yongli Wang, executive director of the Bank of China.
