Industry Divisions Stall Standards Progress

Members of FISD's BIPPS working group say participants are putting their own interests first, hampering progress.


Several panels at the event tackled market data policy standardization, while FISD hosted a meeting of the BIPPS working group—which was established to introduce standards around market data policies—during which members discussed a number of issues, including the definition of an API, the difference between professional and non-professional users, and use cases for derived data.
