Reuters Buys Rights To S&P Equity Data; Plans Integrated Service

Reuters has signed an agreement with McGraw-Hill Inc.'s S&P unit to carry a series of equity-oriented databases maintained by S&P's Equity Services Group. Reuters intends to integrate the new data -- which is primarily fundamental data -- with its existing real-time and historical equities pricing data, making all three accessible via a common database architecture.
