Update: Estimize Plans Crowd-Sourced Estimates Growth, Joins Gnip Social Media Feed
New York-based startup crowd-sourced earnings estimates provider Estimize plans to increase its coverage as well as the types of data it provides, as part of an ongoing expansion process to apply its crowd-sourced data collection model to a broader range of metrics that could be more accurately provided than via traditional earnings estimates, officials say.
Estimize creates consensus estimates on more than 900 stocks by polling over 2,600 individuals and buy-side firms, including hedge funds
