New toolkit allows analysts to open their analysis to other users within a firm.
The vendor first launched QuickApps functionality on its platform a year ago to enable users to create applications and reports such as dashboards that can be distributed throughout an organization. For example, if an analyst finds that a certain set of historical information is a good predictor of future market movements, the analyst can build an application that will allow business users in the organization to run their own analysis, but with the ability to select their own parameters, such as
