Macrobond Preps Workstation Upgrade; Focuses on Chart-Sharing, Dependencies

The vendor's latest update allows users to share charts with different applications and to spot dependencies between datasets.

Thomas Olsson, head of client software development at Macrobond, says the vendor typically plans two to three months in advance of adding new functionality, to be as flexible as possible and adapt to client demand.

"With every new release we try to add a little bit of everything─both charting and analysis. When it comes to charting, we have no new charts this time round, but we are improving the sharing and exporting of charts by adding more formats, including Adobe Illustrator and Twitter,"
