Bracken Selects Rival Systems For Market-Making, Price Calculation Engine

The platform will allow Bracken to automatically calculate options prices and support the development of proprietary pricing models

Bracken has deployed Rival Systems' Auto-Quoter low-latency market-making engine, which will enable the firm to automatically calculate theoretical prices for options, define where it wants to buy or sell based on these prices, and publish quotes to the CBOE. The firm has also rolled out Rival's Electronic Eye, which allows Bracken to define what orders to automatically buy or sell based on parameters set by the firm around their theoretical values.
