Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation has installed the Microsoft Corp. Windows-based upgrade of Barra Inc.'s core equity portfolio risk characterization and optimization software product, dubbed Aegis. The pension fund, which is based in Columbus, Ohio, had previously relied on the DOS-based predecessor to Aegis, which had two components--Iporch and Activops.
