RXR Group, a money manager for investors in futures and options, is in the midst of upgrading its trading, portfolio management and general ledger accounting systems. Like some other quantitatively oriented firms, RXR isn't shy about acquiring new technology: its recent move across town to the Financial Centre in Stamford, Conn., has allowed its information management executives to lay the groundwork for the next stage in the firm's expansion.
