DEUTSCHE Morgan Grenfell (DMG) has launched its so-called Autobahn, an electronic trading service that allows users to deal round-lot US Treasury securities over the Bloomberg network. The system on which the service is based originally was developed by Nomura Securities three years ago, but was abandoned by the Japanese firm and sold to Chris Carroll, who first developed it for Nomura's Government desk in New York.
