Security APL Upgrades Portvue, Consolidates Portfolio Functions At Its Chicago Data Center
PORTFOLIO SYSTEMS
Security APL Inc. is beta-testing an upgrade to Portvue, the proprietary relational database management system (RDBMS) it offers to customers of its portfolio management service bureau. The enhancement consolidates at the bureau's data center several functions often distributed between multiple processors at customer sites.
Security APL hopes that the upgraded Portvue will be attractive to customers participating in wrap-fee programs, who require more sophisticated research and marketing tools.
