Electronic derivatives trading system Blackbird has been out for a year in North America. Now it’s ready to conquer the rest of the world.
Blackbird, the electronic derivatives trading system for the interdealer market, has been live since September 1999. At press time, it had 35 clients and 100 users in North America trading US and Canadian dollar-denominated instruments. But Blackbird has higher aspirations--it intends to go global.
