Robert Fleming Cuts IT Down

Two IT executives at Robert Fleming & Co., both prominent members of the FIX community in London, have been made redundant. IT systems director Andrew Wilson and IT manager Kevin Houstoun will leave the firm in October. Sources at Fleming say IT functions will be consolidated within the firm as a whole. Wilson, who sat on the European FIX Steering Committee, was recently overseeing a FIXML pilot at the firm. He and Houstoun, who was on the FIX Technical Committee, served on the FIXML Working
