Hambrecht & Quist Is First Customer For Aria International

Hambrecht & Quist has selected Aria International to provide it with a new trading room system, says Ian Hobson, information systems manager for the San Francisco-based securities firm.

Formerly known as Prescriptive Technologies, Aria is developing an Apple Macintosh II-based workstation for traders and brokers that handles digital feeds.

Based in San Francisco, Aria was one of several companies that responded to H&Q's recent RFP for 20 to 40 trader workstations and about 100 broker workstations
