ADP To Abandon Back-Office Data Center: Consultant Warns Of 'Substantial Risk'

A confidential report on Automatic Data Processing, Inc.'s back-office data center at 32-42 Broadway has rudely awakened ADP's brokerage services unit to the limits to growth -- and to the costs of exceeding them.

The center, which handles record-keeping for hundreds of brokerage customers, is "at substantial risk of total loss and/or operational disruption" because of "inadequate and non-functioning physical security," the report says.
