SEC Revises Reg NMS Market Reform Implementation Deadlines

NEW YORK - The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has finally announced new implementation dates for the Regulation National Market System market reforms that will require brokers and exchanges to automatically execute guaranteed best available price.

Industry and government leaders in the US had been skeptical for some time that the initial June 29 deadline for Reg-NMS compliance would be met.
