FSA: Next Year "Ambitious" for Real-Time Regulatory Reporting

The FSA remarks came during a panel on Big Data at ETAS 2012, in London.

While some panelists said that their organizations were working on real-time methods for regulatory reporting, and some suggested that 2013 would be the year in which this became necessary, the FSA delegates disagreed.

"I'm a bit surprised by what you're saying in terms of real-time reporting," the delegate said. "It's certainly a big challenge for the FSA, if we move down the route of capturing regulatory data from all of the platforms. Just in the UK alone, we probably regulate 46 platforms
