Service Adds Users, Securities

Markit Corporate Actions (MCA), the overhauled platform offered by the data services provider, built using the Global Corporate Actions Validation Service acquired from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in June 2013, has increased the numbers of securities it covers and the users on the service since announcing plans in April to update the service.

MCA now has about 80 firms using the service, and since April has increased the securities it covers from about 3 million to around
