MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY

Salomon Brothers' promotion of senior operating officer Thomas Miglis to the position of global chief of technology last month (TST, June 24) occurred in tandem with another top-level IT appointment by the firm: Thomas Sanzone's elevation to the role of global chief of applications development. Both Miglis and Sanzone now report to Ken Marshall, managing director and global chief administrative officer. The firm has not yet named replacements for Miglis or Sanzone in their previous jobs, however
