Goldman Assets Ford Takes Sole Control, Once Led Team That Picked Teknekron

DAVID Ford, the co-chief of Goldman Sachs & Co.'s Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) unit will assume full control of the firm, as Michael Armellino is set to step down. The two have shared the top job at the institutional investment unit since February; before that, Ford was busy at Goldman Sachs proper, where, among other things, he managed the team that picked Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s digital data distribution system to support 1,000 Goldman bond traders and salespeople worldwide
