A.G. Edwards Plans Upgrade Of 4,300-Position Branch Office System

Despite the fact that its current quote-vendor contract still has two years to run, A.G. Edwards Inc., a St. Louis- based brokerage firm, has already begun to plot the details of a planned upgrade of its retail system. The system will support the firm's 4,300 brokers at its 450 branch offices, although observers expect Edwards' broker count to rise over the next couple of years.
